You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use popped. By signing up, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or refuse service to anyone for any reason, including violations of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.

popped offers free and paid features. Paid offerings may include subscription plans (such as Pop+ and Sky), one-time purchases (such as Unpoppable and AI Rating), and limited-time passes (such as the “Oh you tryna blow up” 48-hour access pass).

All fees are displayed at checkout before you complete a purchase. Prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated and do not include applicable taxes.

Subscriptions automatically renew for the same term unless canceled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing tools in your profile or via the Stripe Customer Portal.

Refunds are generally not provided except where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion. Abuse of chargebacks may result in account termination.

Free accounts receive a limited number of “pops” per day. The current daily free limit is displayed in the app and may change from time to time. Unused free pops do not roll over to the next day; your count resets based on a 24-hour cycle.

Subscribers and purchasers of qualifying passes may receive unlimited or expanded access during the active period of their plan. Access is tied to the account used at purchase and is not transferable.

You retain ownership of the content you submit, including photos, bios, voice memos, and messages. By submitting content, you grant popped a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload, that it does not violate any third-party rights, and that it complies with our Acceptable Use Policy.

We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or that we determine is otherwise harmful to the community, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

• Creating fake, misleading, or impersonating profiles.
• Harassing, threatening, stalking, or abusing other users.
• Sharing illegal, explicit, hateful, discriminatory, or violent content.
• Spamming, phishing, or distributing malware.
• Scamming, defrauding, or soliciting money from users.
• Reverse-engineering, scraping, or data-mining the Service without authorization.
• Circumventing limits, security controls, or payment checks.
• Using bots or automated means to manipulate matches, likes, ratings, or other activity.

The optional AI Rating feature analyzes profile information and photos to generate a compatibility score. The score is generated by an AI model and is provided for entertainment and matching-pool grouping purposes only. It is not a guarantee of compatibility, attractiveness, or relationship success.

When you purchase an AI Rating, your profile may be matched with other rated users within a defined score tolerance. Pool membership and tolerances are subject to change as the feature evolves.

You may not manipulate, spoof, or attempt to game AI ratings. We reserve the right to remove or recalculate scores if we suspect abuse.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

popped is a platform for meeting people. We do not conduct background checks on users and cannot guarantee the accuracy of user-provided information. Always exercise caution when meeting someone in person.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, popped and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the Service or by email.
